How to Use the Invoice Generator

1. Fill in Business & Client Details

• Your Company: Name, address, and contact email

• Client Information: Recipient’s name, address, and email

• Invoice Details:

  • Auto-generated invoice number (customizable)

  • Due date (defaults to 7 days from today)

2. Add Line Items

• Click “Add Item” to create new service/product lines

• For each item:

  • Description: Service or product name

  • Quantity: Number of units

  • Price: Cost per unit (auto-calculates line total)

• Remove items with the × button (minimum 1 item required)

3. Adjust Financials

• Subtotal: Auto-calculated from line items

• Tax: Set percentage (e.g., 10% for sales tax)

• Discount: Enter fixed amount deductions

4. Generate & Print

• Click “Create Invoice” to validate and calculate

• “Print Invoice” opens browser print dialog (save as PDF)

💡 Pro Tips

✔ Save as PDF: Use “Print” > “Save as PDF” for digital copies
✔ Item Details: Be specific (e.g., “Web Design – Homepage” vs “Design Work”)
✔ Mobile-Friendly: Works on phones/tablets (pinch to zoom on small screens)

⚠️ Important Notes

• Required Fields: Company/client names, invoice number, and due date

• Validation: Alerts appear for missing info or invalid items

• Data Security: All processing happens in your browser (no server storage)

Example Workflow

1. Freelancer enters:

   • Company: “Jane’s Web Design”

   • Client: “Acme Corp”

   • Items:

     • Website Redesign (5 hours @ $75/hr)

     • SEO Audit (1 project @ $200)

2. Adds 5% tax

3. Saves PDF invoice for client records
